One day technique seminar course
Maximum 9 minimum 6 delegates
The
day will take delegates through the essential anatomy and clinical palpation skills necessary to deliver effective technique.
The
seminar will be invaluable to undergraduates needing to develop core skills and interested in learning easily, through practical
demonstration, and in small groups with one to one tutoring.
Graduates
seeking to review current knowledge will also find this day interesting and refreshing.

day will be essentially practical in nature with theory directed toward what is necessary to deliver effective practice

closing case study review (If possible a patient will be asked to attend in person from the clinic list) will provide the
greatest opportunity to develop patient management skills.

the end of the seminar it is expected that delegates will be able to administer specific short lever multi vector HVLAs, a
selection of METs and NMTs, Mobilisation and Functional techniques

- The Temporal Mandibular Joint
One day seminar course
This seminar will take delegates through the concepts of TMJ dysfunction, review theoretical models
and mechanisms and present new and extended material.
This will be important for graduates and undergraduates interested in chronic cervical spine pain and
head ache presentations as well as conditions affecting the upper limb.
The day will be both theoretical and practical in nature with a closing case study review which will
provide the greatest opportunity to develop patient management skills.
The material will include assessment and evaluation skills followed by practical sessions with a multidisciplinary
theme to treatment including HVLA, MET, NMT, Mobilisation ,functional technique and reference to de-inervation of myo-fascial
trigger points with medical acupuncture and behavioural therapy .
