What is NLP
We are all born with the same
basic neurological functions yet it is apparent that peoples across the world function differently and see their world in
different ways. These perceptions are all aspects of function and processing of our neurological system.
So much of NLP is concerned with
learning to think more effectively and therefore being and behaving in a more effective way in our day to day activities.
The history of NLP is rooted
in the behavioural psychological sciences whose inception was in the work of Skinner and Pavlov early 1900s.
It was Richard Bandler a master’s
level student and Dr John Grindler, a professor of linguistics who studied people they considered to be masters in communication
and personal excellence who developed the study we now recognise as NEURO LINGUSTIC PROGRAMMING.
