Mr Peter Slater MA
BACP accredited, UKRC Reg. Counsellor
member of ACP.
What is integrative counselling?
This approach places emphasis
on the development of a trusting relationship between the counsellor and the client.
The counsellor adopts the underlying
belief that the client has the inner resources and can gain insight into dysfunctional patterns of behaviour. It is from this
developmental awareness that many positive life changes can be initiated.
It is the aim of my work to explore
early origins of issues that are causing problems today which involves an integrated process of counselling.
This approach deals effectively
with a wide range of issues.
-
psycological problems
-
emotional problems
-
depression and anxiety
-
panic attacks and stress
-
relationship counselling
-
excessive fears and phobias
-
obsessive compulsive disorders
-
seperation anxieties
-
loss and bereavement
-
anger and behaviour management
